The volunteers gathered at the firehouse today for the annual Thanksgiving Dinner. The volunteers played football during the afternoon between answering two calls. Engine 671 and Tower 67 first took in a reported school on fire in Manheim Township and then later took in an oven fire in the first due. Just prior to dinner; Engine, Tower, and Deputy 67 made the response to the 1000 block of Harrisburg Pike for a commercial building fire. Engine 641 arrived with fire from the roof of a single story restaurant. Tower 67 took side Alpha as the first arriving special service and Engine 671 picked up the supply line for Engine 641. Crews initially started to make an interior attack until conditions started to worsen, the crews were pulled out and Tower 67 went into master stream operations. Company 67 operated on the scene for 90 minutes before clearing. Thank you to Engine 751 for covering the firehouse while we were out. The final call of the night was for a fire alarm on Richardson Drive with Engine 1, Engine 2, and Tower making the response.
